Solar Innova is registered as a producer in the Integrated Industrial Registry of Electrical and Electronic Equipment RII-AEE of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism under number 7378.

Solar Innova has become part of the Collective System of Expanded Producer Responsibility (SRAP), which guarantees compliance with legal obligations on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The company undertakes to collect all the leftover materials from this type of equipment for the correct classification and delivery for recycling.

To comply with these obligations, Solar Innova has signed a collaboration agreement with ECOASIMELEC, which is a non-profit, state-wide association that ensures the defense of the environment. ECOASIMELEC has created a system for the collection, transport, recovery, treatment and control of waste from electrical and electronic equipment, of which Solar Innova will now also be a part.

Although the best environmental option for this type of equipment is repair or reuse, when this is no longer possible, it must be removed, through a process of recovery and valorization of the raw materials of its components.

This system will make it possible for the company to quickly withdraw, temporarily store and deliver these devices to ECOASIMELEC, which will take care of their processing, thus ensuring that they do not end up in a landfill, without the possibility of using their components for a second life.

Solar Innova, within its corporate responsibility policies, wants to collaborate in tackling the problem of potentially polluting substances and aspires to be a company without non-recycled waste and with optimal use of energy sources.

Solar Innova is committed to complying with all the requirements of the European Union (EU) WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and RoHS (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directives. These directives require strategies for waste management and product design for the environment of electrical and electronic equipment sold to EU countries.
